The Employment Support Specialist provides direct supervision and training at community work sites. The goal is to provide a level of productivity that meets the employer’s work standards. This position will be the liaison between community employers and the ODC.
We’re looking for someone who is encouraging, adaptable, and ready to make a real impact — right where it matters most. This isn’t just a job. It’s the moment someone realizes, “I can do this.”
Schedule: Part-Time, 10-14 Hours per week, Tuesday & Thursday, Day Shift (This could change based on caseload and/or community needs.)

What You’ll Do
- Coach and support individuals at their community job sites
- Turn everyday work tasks into confidence-building successes
- Partner with local employers to create inclusive workplaces
- Adjust support as skills grow — promoting independence
- Track progress and celebrate milestones
- Ensure safety and provide transportation as needed
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- One year training/experience in human services or job coaching preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license that is in good standing and insurable under ODC’s vehicle insurance.
- Ability to pass background check
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
