Occupational Development Center Welcomes Laura Holm as New Director of Program Services

The Occupational Development Center (ODC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Holm as its new Director of Program Services for the Bemidji and Grand Rapids areas. In this role, Holm will oversee the operations of Day Support Services and Employment Services, bringing both professional expertise and deep personal commitment to the position.

Holm comes to ODC with extensive experience working alongside individuals with disabilities. Her background includes roles as a House Coordinator and Direct Support Person serving people with disabilities, as well as time as a Business Office Coordinator at an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Bemidji. She also spent 20 years at Bemidji State University and has recently been working with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, helping serve individuals with disabilities in a community setting.

“I am most excited to market our services to the region – both to the clients we serve and to the businesses in our communities,” said Holm. “This work is truly my calling. My adult son has Angelman Syndrome and lives here in Bemidji, and that experience has shaped everything about how I approach this population. I will work hard to help our community understand the real benefits that ODC brings to both employers and the individuals we serve.”

ODC is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals through employment opportunities, training, and community-based services. With Holm’s leadership, the organization looks forward to strengthening its impact and expanding opportunities in the Bemidji and Grand Rapids regions.
