The Occupational Development Center will be temporarily closing work activity centers in accordance with CDC and state guidelines pertaining to the COVID-19 crisis. This is for the health and safety of the populations we serve.
We are prepared to assist families, residential service providers and others who may be impacted by these closures. We have staff who are ready and willing to work temporarily at other sites to help alleviate staffing or service shortages. Do not hesitate to reach out if you are experiencing a staffing or service emergency.
We acknowledge that some of our business partners have an ongoing need for work to be completed. We are able to provide independent employment services and will continue to provide these services where needed. Every effort will be made to provide these services via phone or your preferred online interface.
The production sites that ODC operates have been deemed essential and will remain open. We are grateful to be able to continue serving customers in this capacity while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees.
For now, we all need to do what is best for our communities and practice social distancing for the safety of our family, friends, the people we serve, and our staff and community members.
We will all get through this together!
