Our Grand Rapids division held a retirement party in December for longtime employee, Pauline Saccoman.
Pauline started at ODC in 1975. Over the course of her 44-year career, she worked in a variety of jobs that she tackled with diligence and dedication. Most recently, she was involved in the HTC program assembling taconite sample bags, packaging for wild rice, and many other projects.
Rinna Waters, Program Specialist at ODC Grand Rapids, noted that she was a very dedicated and loyal employee. She went on the describe the retirement party itself:
“Her fellow employees gathered together to wish her a happy retirement, presenting Pauline with a giant card filled with well wishes written and signed by the crew,” said Rinna.
Several guests, including her longtime county case manager, came to celebrate together in her honor.
“It was a very emotional moment for Pauline and staff alike,” Rinna added.
Pauline will enjoy her retirement by spending more time with her husband and her dog, ‘Baby Boy’. She is also excited to have more time for bingo at the Eagles, along with being able to spend more time working on her needlepoint at Itasca Life Options.
Thank you for all your years of service, Pauline – we wish you well in your retirement!
